While the first chapter of the exhibition, The Art of Noticing, curated by Cátia Fonseca, focuses on awarenesssystemic thinking, perception, and the transformative power of creativity to help us observe the world more deeply.

The second chapter, curated by Mariia Plekhova, focuses on human connection. The exhibition proposes art not only as a space for reflection, but as a living force capable of creating encounters that may inspire future ideas, communities, and transformations.

The two chapters intertwine, creating a platform where contemporary art, cultural exchange, human connection, and future-oriented conversations intersect.

This is why Basel Investor Forum — Catalyzing for Impact through dialogue, investment, culture, and innovation — is presented as a partner event.

See you in Metz!

The full programme, speakers, and invited guests will be announced soon...
We look forward to welcoming you at La Citadelle Hotel Metz – MGallery Collection, our venue partner in the heart of Metz.

We extend our sincere thanks to La Citadelle Hotel Metz – MGallery Collection for their warm hospitality and generous support in hosting The Art of Connection.

“For me, art was never created only to be observed. Art is created to connect — to create encounters, to bring people together, and to inspire conversations that may later become collaborations, ideas, and transformations.

As an artist, curator, and organizer of this project, I believe that sometimes a single artwork can become the center around which completely different people suddenly meet. Perhaps this is where real change begins.

The Art of Connection is an invitation: to meet, to notice, and to reconnect with each other through art. From Art Basel to Metz, this project continues as a space where contemporary art, performance and dialogue come together to create new human connections”
